The History of Dave's Carpentry & Painting
While in college, Dave Huffman started painting houses to earn money for living expenses. After learning the trade well enough to perform at the professional level, Dave started his first business, Dave's Painting & More. The "More" referenced various carpentry skills that assisted in painting: repairing damaged or rotted wood, installing trim moldings, etc.
Over the years, as Dave's interests broadened so did his skills. In 2004 he and his friend (Jack) joined forces to form a new company called "Update Your Space". Update Your Space focused on a variety of home interior renovations and exterior repairs, but specialized in kitchens and bathrooms.
In 2006, Dave and Jack decided to pursue different courses in the building industry. Dave moved into custom cabinetry, with some help from his younger brother. Since then, Dave has focused on custom kitchen and bathroom renovations, along with a variety of other cabinet and built-in applications.
